How does COVID-19 (Coronavirus) affect my Rhode Island taxes?

Rhode Island has extended their tax payment and income tax filing due date to July 15, 2020. Rhode Island has also extended the following due dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic:

Personal Income Tax Extension Request (Form RI-4868) July 15, 2020
First and Second 2020 Estimated Tax Payments (Form RI-1040ES) July 15, 2020
Property Tax Relief (Form RI-1040H) July 15, 2020

Extension Filing Deadline: Rhode Island has NOT extended the extension filing deadline. If you applied for an extension to file your federal or Rhode Island income tax returns, your due date is still October 15, 2020.
